The Met 2 Financial Center, (officially the Wells Fargo Center) is part of the Metropolitan Miami complex of four skyscrapers in the central business district of Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. It was completed in early 2010.
Met 2 is actually two buildings, built adjacent to each other that are connected at the bottom using the same parking garage. Both completed in 2010, the Met 2 Financial Center is a 46-story, 647-foot (197 m) commercial office building, and Met 2 Marriott Marquis is a 31-story, 367-foot (112 m) building containing a Marriott Marquis Hotel. Met 2 is currently the fifth tallest building in Miami and Florida.
The Metropolitan Miami project has gained attention due to NBA star Shaquille O'Neal's involvement in the project. He formed the O'Neal Group, a building-development company. The Metropolitan Miami project is the group's first.
